Chandra Green, MBL, LMFT

Chandra Green is a coach, consultant, and licensed therapist. She received her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy and her Master’s in Business Law both from Friend’s University graduating with honors as a member of Delta Kappa. Located in Kansas City, Kansas.

Chandra has spent years working with her community, individuals, groups, families, couples and leaders in business to help channel conscious outcomes regarding healing, relationship goals, trauma healing and trauma informed leadership skills. Ms. Green has been an advocate for the wellbeing and holistic health of her community for over 15 years. With a focus on human rights and trauma, she has had the opportunity to serve her community in various ways. She has also dedicated time and efforts to helping leadership and organizations cultivate behaviors, cultures and education that lend to better practices and community mindset that represent the communities they serve through trauma-informed, diversity, equity and inclusion training and consulting.

Chandra has a passion to help others live their best life holistically. From how a person relates to themselves, to how they relate to others and into accomplishing the dreams that help them live a fulfilled life as one defines it for themselves. For those who are unsure of what this life can look like, Chandra provides those hard questions that lead to personal action and taking charge of your own outcomes as much as possible. By unmasking generational patterns, hard truths, unconscious beliefs and actions along with providing coping tools and supportive practices, Chandra is able to walk with you as you pursue… Self. Tameka Murray

Tameka Murray is a Transformational Speaker, Certified & Master Life Coach, and 4x Self-Published Author. She’s the creator of Toxic Love Language University (TLU) and the owner of TTS & Associates LLC, located in Lenexa, KS. She also holds various leadership roles at the local church Empowerment Temple in Kansas City, KS, and is an Executive Board Member of A Starrs Initiative in Detroit, MI.

Tameka speaks on the importance of happiness, self-love, and purpose. She never imagined her diary entries, inspirational videos and merchandise, advocacy, and self-published works, along with her strategic life coaching tactics, would be the foundation of her purpose as Tameka the Speaker.

Dola Williams

Dola Williams is the Visionary|Servant of the ministry All About Jesus (ALABTJS); the business entity RedefiningStrong; and the nonprofit ICan.Sir! Through each of these entities women are supported across seven areas: They are spiritual healing, financial freedom, mental health, physical fitness, and challenged to rest well, play fair and work smart.

Dola serves as a Research Program Coordinator at the Center for Community Health and Development, where she supports implementation of several research and evaluation projects. She coordinates and provides evaluation services, training, and technical support for community driven initiatives.

She holds a Business Organization and Management Bachelor of Science Degree from Friends University. Dola has extensive experience providing capacity building training, consultation, and technical support to grassroots organizations in the areas of community engagement, and organizational, program, and leadership development. She has coordinated several programs for youth-serving organizations in Wyandotte County and serves on several local boards.

Dola is a life-long resident of Kansas City, Kansas where she has raised three children, who have taken on their own opportunities to empower others. Marc Jackson

Marc Jackson is a global Transformational Leadership Trainer and Life Coach as well as a Pastor. His work has impacted the U.S., Romania, Haiti, the United Kingdom, and beyond. Nicknamed the “Soul Coach”, Marc has highly specialized training certifications in Neuroscience of Change Coaching, Informed Trauma Coaching, DISC and True Colors Personality Behavioral Styles Certifications, as well as Fatherhood, Motherhood, and Co-Parenting facilitation. He is also a certified Offender Workforce Development Specialist.

Born from a long line of ministers, civil rights leaders, and social justice advocates, Marc grew up with a faith foundation and a front-row seat to ministry, of which he wanted no part. He pursued a music career which he is grateful didn’t manifest, and finally accepted his calling into ministry and servant leadership. Marc developed his leadership skills from his teenage years into adulthood through both triumphs and failures. A survivor of early childhood trauma, his own healing and transformational journey make him a “product of the product”: an investment in himself that changed his life while solidifying his purpose and passion to help others transform.

He passionately and powerfully provides mindset mastery training and instruction to growth-minded leaders and companies, aspiring and existing entrepreneurs, returning citizens, and more.

Marc is skilled in training high-character, high-performance leadership principles to every role in an organization, and is passionate about addressing what he calls the “self-self” relationship: how one’s internal relationship impacts relationships with everyone and everything. His core mission is to help people break through limiting beliefs so they can live the life they’re created to live. Marc lives outside of Kansas City, Missouri with his wife and family. Together with his wife Tamar, they are a blended family of six and have one incredibly hilarious granddaughter.

Chiquita Miller, Ph.D., LMAC, CFLE

Chiquita Miller has been working as a K-State Research and Extension - Wyandotte County, Family and Consumer Sciences Agent in Kansas City, Kansas since 2000. Before working as an Extension agent, she worked as a preschool educator, athletic coach, and social worker. She served her country in the United States military for five years as a Unit Supply Specialist and Medical Lab Tech. She also attended college at Florida A&M University on a basketball scholarship prior to joining the military.

Education:
Chiquita has her Ph.D. in Family Studies (2015), MS in Adolescence and Youth Counseling, and BS in Social Work (1996), all from Kansas State University. She is also a master's level Certified Substance Abuse Counselor and Certified Family Life Educator.

Work-Related Areas:
The most rewarding aspect of Chiquita’s job is working with various individuals, families, and community organizations in Wyandotte County, Metropolitan Kansas City, the state, and other national initiatives. She continuously finds ways to meet the challenging unmet needs of her community. Her most current work plan is centered on Basic Living Skills, focusing on parenting, budgeting, cleaning and clutter control, stress reduction, mindfulness, time management, trauma-free living, and job readiness, to name a few.

Chiquita is also involved as a community organizer and facilitator on projects such as Parents and Providers University, KU ThrYve Project, former Alive and Thrive Trauma facilitation, Parent Project Parenting Group, Back to School Fair, Greater Kansas City Homeless Coalition, Community Emergency Response Team, Employment Consortium of Wyandotte County, and Kansas City Kansas Community College Early Childhood Advisory Council. She also serves or has served on community boards: Mother to Mother Ministry Inc. of Kansas City, Fountain City Performance Arts Inc., Keeler Women’s Center, Groundwork-NRG, Mid-America Assistance Coalition (MAAC). Previously served: The Kansas Statewide Homeless Coalition, Inc. (KSHC), United Way of Wyandotte County, and El Centro Inc. She is also a lifetime member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Personal Background:
Chiquita is originally from a small town in Cairo, Georgia, and is the youngest of six children. Her family members all reside on the East Coast from Florida to New York. Her hobbies are traveling all over the world, attending theatrical plays, and riding motorcycles!off-key in karaoke bars and is a member of the KCK Taco Trail Champion Wall of Fame.

Diane Etzel-Wise, MA

Diane Etzel-Wise, MA, has been serving the citizens of Kansas and Missouri since 1977.

In addition to serving people with serious and persistent mental illnesses in area mental health centers for more than 20 years, she has taught Social Work Research at the University of Kansas and/or Recreational Therapy at the University of Central Missouri since 1997, both with a primary focus on mental health and wellness at the macro, mezzo and micro levels. Diane served as the Executive Director of the Kansas Statewide Homeless Coalition 2009-2011.

Diane has developed and delivered training in a variety of subjects, including strengths-based approaches, strategic planning, trauma informed care, supported housing, and funeral consumer issues.

She is certified in Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Project Management and as an instructor in Mental Health First Aid for Adults through the National Council for Mental Wellbeing.

Shelby Mabery

Shelby Mabery is passionate about improving the quality of life for those in the KC region, she believes we can create change and promote healing when we work together.

Shelby has held various community-oriented positions in mental health with a focus area on DEIAB+ and Trauma Informed Care (TIC) facilitation. She has experience in program management, providing housing stabilization for houseless individuals with Severe and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI) in order to thrive in their permanent supportive housing, providing ABA therapy for kiddos on the ASD spectrum, and crisis intervention for teens with disordered eating. Shelby currently works as the Project Manager at the KC Health Collaborative and is responsible for coordinating initiatives that close health equity gaps in healthcare outcomes, bringing together community, and ensuring we get to work.

She holds a fine arts degree in Illustration from Kansas City Art Institute and sees the beauty in everything. She is currently working to obtain her Project Management Professional certification (PMP).

Brie Byers

Brianna is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Kansas.

Brianna uses a client-centered, humanistic approach, while keeping careful consideration of cultural concerns and practices.

Brianna is currently pursuing her certification in Play Therapy.

Brianna has experience working with anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, and Severe and Persistent Mental Illness such as Schizophrenia, Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar I, as well as, co-occurring Substance Use disorders.

Brianna enjoys and has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults.

In 2021, LeDarious took on the role of a community organizer at WYCO Mutual Aid, focusing on the Vaccination Project. His infectious smile and approachable sense of humor create a welcoming atmosphere for clients, encouraging them to seek the help they need.

LeDarious’ understanding of inequity and cultural diversity allows him to empathize with the unique challenges faced by minorities. This empathy is crucial in his work, as it helps him to break down barriers and foster a sense of trust and belonging among community members.

LeDarious thrives on being actively involved in helping people rather than being confined to a desk job. His hands-on approach allows him to feel like an integral part of the change he wishes to see in his community. By engaging directly with those he serves, LeDarious is not just facilitating access to resources but also nurturing a supportive and inclusive environment. His commitment to community service is an inspiration, showcasing how one person's dedication and compassion can make a significant difference in the lives of many.
